It isn't fake numbers. You know that very well that Xbox is selling like shit. Also, try to tell it is a fake number on Icon. What, no one likes you there, huh
What is it with you Sony fannies an alignment with lies?😂
PS still up $1.55 Billion in revenue over Xbox. And yes, the PS yoy numbers are down big, but remember last Q4 was an all time record for PS.
More. Over 2x in revenue if you exclude Activision ( which is almost 2 bil. $)
"exclude Activision".. 😂🤣

Ooh shit! Xbox is fucking dying, folks. Anyone who says other console manufacturers need to follow in MS's footsteps do NOT know what the **** they're talking about. Less than 1 million shipped the last quarter. Somebody tell me why these people choose to continue to stay in the hardware business

Yet, Sony is following MS footsteps by releasing games on PC for their highest selling game EVER, released day one on PC and sold 50% more than on PS5. But you folks believe that Sony is going to ignore those numbers.🙃
Except that's factually incorrect. It grew substantially in the PS3/360 and Wii era. The problem is much of the growth came from casuals who bought the Wii for the motion control gimmick and moved on. Regardless the overall console market was far larger in the PS4/ XBX One/ Switch era than it was in the PS2/Xbox/ GameCube era.
Past 24 years
PS2/Xbox/Gamecube: 159/21/21 = 201 million
PS3/360/Wii: 87/85/101 = 273 million -> 36% (This is not substantial)
PS4/Xbox One/WiiU/Switch:117/58/13/ 76= 264 million -> -3% (decrease)
Source
Nintendo, prior to the Switch occupied two markets with two devices. 65.8 3DS devices at the end of 2017. During the Wii era with Gameboy, Nintendo sold a combine 219 million units which dropped to 78 million during the WiiU and then to 139 during the Switch era. Here is a visualization of revenue showing console stagnation
Feel free to share your "alternative" facts.🤷🏽♂️
Your chart literally proves what I just said 🤣. 36% is substantial
I said the Wii growth wasn't sustainable due to the casuals but an additional 63 million consoles were sold in the PS4/XB1/Switch era than the PS2/Xbox/ GC era.
So yes the market is there for Playstation to grow.

GaaS games so far. But doing shit like putting big games day and date on a sub service... that shit failed and you know it. Xbox is getting SEGA'd right before our eyes. Xbox consoles are about to be nothing but a memory soon

Yep, that's exactly why Sony was trying so hard to block the deal and why cows suddenly became big fans of the CMA and FTC..

They would be smart to know that singleplayer games won't have that success on PC and the vast majority of their live service games won't either.
Corporation are full of reactionary morons though so they may be so dumb.

That denial is tasty. Almost as tasty as PS games not coming to PC.😂

The only denial here is still riding for Xbox when they took every wrong step in the book, and now they're getting folded. This is embarrassing, and you've chosen to go down with the sinking ship

I literally said exactly what your chart did 🤣🤣. Explain to me how I lied? 🤔
@silentchief: You’re still ignoring all the facts that gaming is so much more then a singular device. Games are exponentially more costly to develop. The PlayStation hasn’t grown since the PS2 but has only gotten smaller. A stagnant and/or shrinking user base isn’t going to keep increasing revenue from subscriptions and third party game sales.
Weren't you the one thst said console players will never move to PC? 🤣🤣

An extra 64 million consoles were sold. You are just claiming that wasn't substantial. That's really only the case if your comparing it to mobile but that is a completely different market.

Sony reportedly shipped almost five times as many PS5 consoles as Microsoft did Xbox Series X/S consoles during the first quarter of 2024.https://t.co/O6BTeL6Qv8pic.twitter.com/ABMUmyYHga

No it means actual fact. 36% growth in a business that existed for 3 decades is substantial. Try again 🤣

In ruins, yes! Otherwise, Xbox wouldn't go 3rd party
Insane.
— Shinobi602 (@shinobi602) May 14, 2024
This is a big reason why Microsoft will almost certainly go all in on full multiplatform & I expect will become more & more apparent over the next 12-18 months. You can't grow Game Pass at the rate you want and recoup sales with these numbers.
(This isn't a dig at Xbox… https://t.co/foIbyxZv7o

PlayStation is also a 3rd party publisher; just to a lesser extent..
@silentchief: Even the mighty Switch has yet to outsell the PS2 and that thing has been on fire since day one and continues to be. The PlayStation brand simply hasn’t been growing and doesn’t look to be in the future. Games are simply just too expensive to keep locked down to one platform with the same sized user base. The ceiling for revenue for a singular platform has been pretty much reached from first party games, subscription services, and third party cuts. The margins are just too thing for them to be comfortable sticking to just their platform. Branching out is what’s best for both Sony and consumers.
59 million is a good number probably selling 3-1 over series x/s.
59/3=30? 😂
This is so damn beautiful
We love fake numbers here at System Wars! Thank you! 😊

These stats should change in the future considering Sony is not selling their games to 177 countries on steam now.

900 people compared to thousands in MS yard, mostly because Xbox **** ups. Look at the problems in your own yard first and foremost, Xbot. Ignorance is a bliss.
Told you before, around 2 weeks ago "Mind you that MLB is a PUBLISHER for MLB The Show on Xbox, not Sony. As MLB's term was to going multiplatform. Mind you, that Bungie's term was to stay independent before acquisition and continue to release games on multiple platforms, hence the announcement of Marathon for Xbox. 8% Sony's workforce against 9% Microsoft's workfoce. Hardly massive difference.
Sony's two biggest acquisitions lead to layoffs. Unfortunately it happens a lot more than it doesn't in most sectors.

Excuses, Xbot, excuses. Just to paint how all is good at Xbox. You.Xbots.Will.Never.Learn. No wonder why Xbox is at free fall
Mind you that Sony formed a new studio from ex-Deviation devs.
