While simple, Zuma: Deluxe is an addictive, and just plain fun game that will keep you coming back for more for months.
The gameplay and story is so simple in Zuma that you'll really wonder what it is that keep you coming back for more and more. The main idea of Zuma is basically to shoot colored balls, making a match of three or more on a row of balls going around you in a pattern. If you clear all the balls, you win the level, if you don't, then you lose and must try again.
And while the game may sound simple, Zuma manages to be a very challenging game as time goes on, as you'll really find the game to get pretty tough as you move through the adventure mode.
The game looks pretty good running on the Xbox 360, and it looks exactly as you would imagine an arcade game like this to look. And while the sound in the game works and fits with the theme, it may tend to get annoying after playing the game in long sessions, as there isn't much variety.
Overall though, Zuma: Deluxe is a great purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and should keep you busy for quite a while as you go after those achievements, as well as the Xbox Live leaderboard.
