OK first is first, unless you are interested in the story of this game, you won't see any reason to continue playing.

At its core, it is a very solid game, and the action/turn baised stratagy combination keeps you thinking, while keeping you from falling asleep. It does have some stratigic elements, but they dont affect much of the game play. Even though it seemes like a good idea to have action implemented to a stratagy game, it might not be what some stragy fans would like. The action system lets you aim on your targit while it moves, a hit in the middle of the taget results in a "critical" attack, doing twice the damage, if you miss the target, or run out of time, it will result as a miss. While this adds some nice changes to the genre, it is very easy to master, and once mastered, the game gets REALY easy, as you can allways hit the enemy, and never get hit in return. This unbalences the game completly.

There is not much to say about the graphics, the map designs range from a city, to a desert waistland on mars, not very much variety. one thing that looks amasing, is the background images, and the anime animations during attack. thoes are some of the best graphics ive ever seen on a gameboy.

The sound it the game is great! from the exsplotions, the "pehoo" of the blasters. and a techno score of music in the background that accuratly represents the mood of the scenes in the game

all in all, it is a very fun game, it has a very indeph story, but the acual action in the game is not very satisfying, but the story will keep you playing.
