The Legend of Zelda: Adventure of Link is considered by many to be the worst of the series. The change from a top down perspective in the original Legend of Zelda to the side scrolling world of Adventure of Link, did not fair well with the fans. To a large degree I agree with the fans. The side scrolling is not as good as the top down perspective. You lose the sense of adventure and the game starts to fell a bit more like a platformer as appose to an adventure game.

That said, the overworld in the game is pretty big. You will get to explore some amazing environments, from mountains to small hamlets. Talking of villages, they are quite fun to explore. It is something which was not present in the original Legend of Zelda, and something that I feel, makes a welcome entry.

The music is slightly hit and miss with this game. It has the overworld theme which is different to the original and no where near as good. The dungeon music is excellent however. Overall this game is deffinately the weak link in the Zelda series. I do recommend this game as it is, in its own rights, a good adventure game and you do get quite a lot for just 800 Wii Points.
