Something every fan of Yu-gi-oh! must have!!

I have been a long time fan of Yu-gi-oh! and I couldn't pass up the chance for this gem. You start out where a mage is trying to summon a hero for a battle. They get you and you have to choose which side you are going to fight for. Both sides have different opponents though the idea is to duel them and get a Rose Card. Once you get all of them you can fight the main boss. When you start the game you have a basic deck to use. The way you improve your deck is to win battles. When you destroy an enemies card it is put in th graveyard. When you win the fight you play a slot game. What ever 3 cards you get are yours. Also if you manage to get 3 of a kind you get a special rare card. Also after 5 duels, win or lose, you can take an old card and "reincarnate" it to get 3 different cards. This is done by pressing L3 button on the chest screen. The stage is made of a 7 x 7 board. Quite a bit different from the game mat in the real card game. Each square is a terrain. Certain terrains give a power boost to certain monsters. Zombies are strong in wasteland or dark. Fish and Aqua are strong on sea terrain and so on. This is very important to know. When you start a round you have 100 turns to defeat your opponent. Once the turns are up the one with the most life points wins. Though it is best to beat them before that. Both players use a single monster as the avatar. If an opposing monster attacks an avatar they take the full damage. The graphics work well for the game. Soundtrack is ok though it gets a little old after a while. I think the gameplay is the best feature of the game. This is a game every Yu Gi Oh fan should try.
