It's not THAT bad, and its not broken.

User Rating: 5 | You Are Empty PC
A 1.5? Come on now. You Are Empty is definitely not Half-Life and its certainly a little underwhelming but it actually RUNS and isn't without its redeeming factors.

The gameplay is shallow, linear and not very difficult if you're used to shooters but to the game's credit the environments look pretty nice and it doesn't cause your computer to spontaneously combust upon running. It's not going to change your world but it can be entertaining and interesting to wander through, if only to take in the sights.

I was a little disappointed but as I said before, nothing about the game seems to be broken or dysfunctional so that is more than can be said of some. The story's a little strange and unfolds without much fanfare, mostly through "notes" found in game but there are a few neat cutscenes as well.

Possibly a decent game for someone not very familiar with the genre since the pacing is pretty slow, its hard to get lost and there are health vials laying around every corner -- It's not abysmal, just decidedly uninspired and a little on the drab side.
