At first I thought Yoshi's Island was going to be lame because I heard that it was about baby Mario riding on Yoshi. I picked it up anyway so I could complete my super mario advance collection. I was very surprised when I realized that the game was actually fun. The story is that evil Kamek kidnaps luigi and mario has to get him back so mario rides on yoshi's back because yoshi agreed to help. So you control yoshi. He has some cool techniques like his ability to eat enemies, poop them out into eggs, throw the eggs, and butt pound. The game is a blast to go through. There are a lot of memorable enemies and levels. Also, all of the boss fights are very unique. The only issue with this game is that it's short. It only has 6 worlds and 10 levels in each world. I finished this game in a week. So all in all Yoshi's Island is a blast, however this great adventure is over far too quickly.
