Yoshi's Cookie is a puzzle game for the NES, SNES and Game Boy. In this puzzle game, the basic rules of the game is to match the cookies in a row to get rid of them. The more combos you get, the more points you earn. The game ends when the screen overflows with cookies.
There are three modes: Action, VS and Puzzle. The Action mode consists of 10 levels per round. You must complete the stages in order to get to the next round. When you complete the 10 stages, a cutscene will show up starring Mario and a cookie. The VS mode is both single-player and 2-Player. This mode allows you and a friend to pit themselves against each other to see who is the best Yoshi's Cookie player. The Puzzle mode requires you to get rid of the cookies using a limited number of moves.
The main strong points of this game would have to be the challenge the game offers, the humorous cutscenes and the overall fun gameplay of Yoshi's Cookie. The main flaw would have to be a lack of modes which in turn makes this game less fun to play. I recommend Yoshi's Cookie to anyone looking for a good puzzle game to play.
