It's different, but there's not enough options.

User Rating: 5 | Mario & Yoshi NES
The idea of taking parts of Yoshi's shells and make a sandwich out of your enemies to score points is a good idea, but it lacks options and many more. There's a reason why Yoshi was missed at the end of the NES years, it wasn't strong enough. I remember playing this game first on my Gameboy. Fun at first but dies down after a few plays.

Pros: Unique puzzle idea. Fun for the first half hour.

Cons: Too short. Not enough options to play and no power-ups to add some spunk to the gameplay.

There really isn't any more I could say. It's one of those, "I remember Yoshi, I'll play it for a bit" and 45 minutes later you're done. You won't be back to play for more until at least a few months pass by. It's only worth purchasing on your Wii if you've played the game in the passed on your NES or Gameboy and enjoyed it somehow. Otherwise, grab a different puzzle game that gives you more options.
