Unless you really liked the original Yoshi game, don't waste your time.

I have had two different types of Yoshi games over the years. The original and a remake that someone released for the TI-86 Graphing Calculator, they are incredibly close to the same except with some graphical differences. But this game is a copy of the orginal, so enough of the calculator game. This game is an easy puzzle game that many never heard of. Goombas, Boos, Squids, and Pirahana Plants fall from the top of the screen at two to three at a time and fall faster as the game continues. The object of the game is to remove all the characters from the screen, but there is a little twist to get extra points. The top and bottom of Yoshi eggs are also falling randomly, when a bottom part falls the only ways to get rid of them is to use another bottom egg part or to wait for a top part. When you use the top part a yoshi will emerge giving you a small bouns. Another thing that the eggs can be used for is putting stuff in between the bottom part of the egg and top part, which gives higher bounses. Overall that is mainly the game in an... egg-shell...

The graphics are better then some orginal Nintendo games and the Yoshi animations are new to some as you can seee small and large yoshi alike when gaining egg bonuses. Another bright side is it has the original yoshi screech, that can be heard all the way up to Mario Kart 64, so you can see when it was first used. Other than the mediocre graphics and orginal sound effects the music is very generic, if you had a mario themed tetris.

The game should only be bought be extreme mario fanatics or by people who have actually played teh orginal Yoshi. Others may not understand why others like it so much.
