I bought a PS2 for this game!

Story: compelling as before, the romance kinda killed the tough-guy thing a bit, but it's a brilliant story overall, and thanx there's no more little itchy chic following you around this time--coz you get a cop to do it!

Controls: same as the last game, no surprise, but they added more quicktime button reflex this time, and thank god it didn't work like that Conan x360 game, so u don't die as often in the final boss fight.

V&A: ok it seems the studi wants the characters to be "smooth" looking, but it did the opposite so everything looks smudged. i understand that japan is not a green country but this doesn't look good. the sound also took a turn for the worse from the previous game.

Overall: for reasons unknown, the graphics and sounds looked better in the first game. the entire tokyo is same as last time--cheap on labour! this is a story-driven game and it does a good job for that. But, this one seems to offer less replay value than the first one, a pity.
No regret on buying a PS2 for it, coz there is Devil Summoner 2 coming up.
