What a game!!!!!!!!

I was a big fan of the old XCOM games. I spent half my childhood trying to become better than the aliens! I saw the game over screen... hundred of times. And i couldn't quit trying. It was THAT addictive. The re-imagining of XCOM by Fireaxis is one of the finest moments in gaming. It has all the elements a player wants. Breathtalking battles, a lot of customization that plays significant role in your progress in the game, excelent action moments (damn it, i loved the action cam, it was used so nicely in the game), lots of weapons, hard boiled killings, etcThe game is just a piece of art. It is not without problems (camera some times gives you problems, especially in confined spaces), the game some times wont proceed next turn, and other minor issues that could destroy your game if you play in Iron man mode), but i think they will be fixed with a patch. But the core, the most basic element in gaming which is "gameplay" is the thing that oozes from the game. You cannot stop playing. Its one of those games that make you say "one more mission and i go to sleep" while you've been playing for 14 hours straight. You forget the passing of time, you forget to eat, to sleep, to call your gf.... For the hours until the ending of the game, nothing else matters. ;) If you love turn based strategy games, you should play it. If you were a fan of XCOM you MUST play it. Yes, it is THAT good. :)
