As a true fan of the series & having lost months of my life back in the day playing through enemy unknown, terror from the deep & Apocalypse. I am one of those x-com fans that would have been really hard to please and just expected a weaker diluted version of the game for the console mentality. but to my amazement this game has had a heck of a lot of love poured in to it, from the background music and sound FX that create a really fantastic atmosphere .The way the squad chatter works and when they panic LOL, the animations,the cut scenes, your base advisers little comments and all the nice little touches they have put in to the game. Dare i say it i actually believe this is better than the original experience and i just cant stop playing the thing just like old times :D.sure they have removed some elements like multiple bases and such but they have added so much more that the have removed for the original experience nand im my opinion this game is a modern masterpiece! and you owe it to yourself as a gamer to experience this game. This game is a breath of fresh air in a time where publishers are basically forcing devs to only make around 3 different types of games and for having the balls to say you know what gamers deserve more variety they deserve your support!
