Emergency Mayhem E3 2004 Preshow First Look

You must hold together a city that is literally falling apart at the seams in this zany, new arcade-style action game.

At E3 2004, Acclaim will be showing its Emergency Mayhem for the first time. In the game, you will take control of three different emergency services teams--police, fire, and medical--who must race against an ever-ticking clock to prevent a major city from completely falling apart. However, the game's action and characters will be largely tongue-in-cheek and arcade-inspired, thus making for an experience that should more closely approximate Crazy Taxi than a serious emergency simulation.

In the game, you will be able to take control of up to 12 different types of vehicles, and you can compete in more than 70 different skill-oriented minigames. Each type of game will be time-based, giving you a set amount of clock time in which to complete the necessary tasks. In addition, the game will feature a number of unique party modes for multiplayer action.

Emergency Mayhem is in development at Acclaim Studios Cheltenham and is slated for a spring 2005 release on all three current-generation-console platforms. We will have more coverage on Emergency Mayhem from the E3 2004 show floor.
