Netherlands-based developer and publisher Playlogic has recently released the first information on Xyanide for the Xbox. The game, which is currently in development at Playlogic's Game Factory studio, is a shooter in which players will assume the role of a star fighter pilot named Drake.

The game's storyline sees Drake pursuing a dangerous witch named Aguira, who, after being sentenced to death by disintegration by the Judges of Mardar, manages to escape from the execution craft Drake was escorting. Aguira is able to escape because the ship carrying her to her demise is struck by an asteroid containing Xyanide--a substance with the ability to materialize thoughts. As a result, the enemies players will be facing are the deadly products of Aguira's own twisted imagination. Further details on Xyanide are scarce at present, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
