I LOVE IT
The gameplay doesn't really match up at all to the 3 sequeals (WMXIX, DOR, DOR2) but it's still very good. There aren't that much moves you can pull off but there are a lot of different situations for the moves like you basic standing grapples, ground moves, turnbuckle moves, etc. There are a varied amount of wrestlers, weapons and match types. The main mode has you going for different title belts and can be quite challenging at times. There is also a Battle for the Belts mode where you can fight for a huge amount of custom belts. You can then fight against your friends for belts they've won and put your belts up for grabs too.
The graphics in this game are pretty dull now but still ok. Everything is very clear. The wrestlers look like their human counterparts, the move animations are very good and the rings and entrances are all perfect too.
The sounds and music in this game are all very good too. Well, the ingame music does get slightly repetitive. The sound effects are very well done as are the entrance themes. The only fault with the entrance themes is that a few wrestlers have totally different music than they should have. Booker T's is a kinda MIDI version of his actual theme. NWO's is nothing like the original but sounds ok and Tajiri's is different too.
Overall I really like this game. It's probably my second favourite of the GC WWE series and one of my favourites out of all the other wrestling games I've played.
