Sick of old boring? stale? unexciting gameplay? miss the days of no mercy?

This game seemed lame by the previews.... over the top character models, fancy color highlights for moves, and simple arcade style game play. WWE All Stars is anything but lame. The game gives the illusion of simple while there is a a lot more to learn than most wrestling games today and more importantly it's fluent. Previous wrestling game aka the smackdown vs raw series lost its fluid game play to complex boring mechanics and its robust creation modes. What this game lacks in creation modes it makes up for in exciting, flashy game play. There are four classes the brawler, the grappler, the acrobat, and the big man. All have unique tweaks and all are very fun to play with and against. But don't think that all the characters are the same in each class...no sir they are not. HHH is half brawler half grappler, Undertaker is half big man and half brawler....they mix and match quiet a bit making the game very deep in the combat area. It plays like the good thq games wrestlemania 2000, no mercy and the def jam series. The match types and creation modes are really where the game lacks...its very bare bones here but enough to still be enjoyable. Sure there are some minor glitches that can happen but that's common with most games in general. The loading times are a bit long but i don't care about that as long as the game is smooth. The online needs a little work mostly in connectivity but lag was never a problem for me. Getting into a match was.... sometimes it took twenty mins of waiting. Overall i gave it an eight and hope they make more with a full upgrade of creation modes and match types then this game would be the best wrestling game ever made....they should call it "wwe all stars: no mercy". lol
