WTF has its fair share of good minigames, but some are just too much worse than the others.

Story telling is essentially non-existant in WTF but the premise of this game is that your trying to earn money to spend at the vending machines by working a number of unique and down-right odd jobs. The problem is these jobs really don't give you a whole lot of money so you must work a lot to earn the best trinkets.

There is actually plenty to the gameplay of Work Time Fun, ranging from being a bouncer to chopping logs or capping pens. Outside of actual minigames there are also a few things to do like using your money at the vending machines to buy trinkets and hopefully new minigames. There are 4 different sets of machines, each set costing a different amount to use. It starts at $1.00 then goes to $5, followed by $10 and finally $50. The items you can win at each machine are obviously different. There is also an online trading system, the Hell Catina in which you can receive and trade trinkets with other people online. An addition to the gameplay outside of the minigames is the fact that you can receive emails (not real ones mind you) from other people working. These emails are from fictional characters, but they can still often be very entertaining and some qutie humourous. A select few also provide tips about some of the minigames and how to earn more money while playing them. Finally there are some ad emails in which you open them and you will actually lose money, so watch out for those.

The minigames are all very simple, a lot of them variations on other games you may have played in the past. Depending on how well you do in the minigame you earn more money for it, but the amounts you earn from each game seem pretty inconsistant in the sense that some games you think you're doing well and it turns out you only earn a single dollar. Other games like this you'll probably want to avoid playing to earn as much money as possible to earn even more minigames. Another problem is the minigames you can play each time you go to work are randomly selected and you have the option to play only 4 of your minigames at once. It seems that a lot of the time you'll get the ones you do not play much. The graphics are generally very simple and often oldschool looking. They will probably leave something to be desired. The sound works essentially as the graphics do. At a budget price and containing some good minigames this game is worth a purchase, however, you may find yourself getting bored if you get unlucky and do not manage to get new minigames from the vending machines often.
