World in Conflict: Boring, stale.

This game does not live up to the hype it generated in 2007. It's a very boring and stale game, even for 2007. I suspect the presentation at the game conventions was more spectacular than the game. There are many games that still play well today that are as old or older than World in Conflict but this game has been left behind where it belongs.

It's also very interesting to see the screenshots of this game versus the playable action. The screenshots are gorgeous but playing the game is not as visual and seems like more of an arcade game rather than a virtual FPS game (as is suggested by the screens).

Stick with much more immersive games such as Call of Duty or the Battlefield series, or even the Total War series that have stood the test of time if you think you will like this game.

So, please, don't waste your money.
