Fantastic story, lots of explosions, average tactics, too much hand holding, but a lot fun!

This game is an excellent game for someone new to strategy or tactics gaming. For the seasoned RTS veteran, it's rather simple but the story will keep you engaged.

First off, if you haven't played this game or the follow up Soviet Assault, get the combined games. The story will be alternate between the US and Soviet missions which makes for a very enjoyable experience.

Turn up the graphics detail because you will get a lot enjoyable destruction. Game play is common to other RTS like COH, Dawn of War 2, Order of War in that you are in command of a small company which is just right. Music is great and voice acting is top notch. It really pulls you in. Missions are full and there's plenty to do.

There's just a little too much hand holding here in that it keeps telling you what to do. It's hard to fail a mission.

This is a must have and a highly enjoyable game!
