Got us a German here wants to die for his country. Oblige him.
Pros
1.) The AI in this game, although not that great for the weaker regular soldiers is made up for by the stronger more challenging "monsters".
2.) The plot follows the standard Wolfenstein plot...which is...Nazis find occult artifact...the OSA sends B.J. in to find out what it is and stop them. In my opinion that is one of the reasons that Wolfenstein is such a good shooter is because it has a tried and true plot.
3.) Although the game may not look as good as HL2/Fallout 3/Oblivion I still think it looks better then quite a few games that have been released in the past two years. An upside of this is that it runs great on older systems.
4.) There were many times that I laughed out loud while playing, mainly because of the great send backs to the original Wolfenstein 3D.
5.) The Veil system is new and unique and keeps the game series from getting stale.
Cons
1.) The minor enemy AI is very weak, and since your fight regular Nazis more then any other type it can be somewhat annoying.
2.) Although the plot follows the same recipe as the previous games, this one seems to be made out instead of based on a "real world" story or legend.
3.) The game doesn't look nearly as good as it should for being released in 2009. It looks closer to RtCW which was released in 2001.
4.) The save system is completely annoying, this is the one major way that you can tell its a console port. I just have one thing to say...PC GAMERS DON'T LIKE CHECKPOINT SAVES!
5.) The Veil system seems like a cheap gimmick they threw on because the console players hadn't played a Wolfenstein game yet.
Conclusion
This game isn't the best in the series, and unfortunately right now its the worst. If your a Wolfenstein fan that pick it up, otherwise regular FPS fans need not apply.
