The game started off really good, and then when you get near the end everything just falls apart!

Story: Basically the main plot of this game is pretty simple, this is back during World War two and everyone is duking it out, Germany is able to make the atom bomb before any other nation and they decide to use it on America, this basically makes the US surrender and the world is now all controlled by Nazi's, this is an interesting idea for the plot for this game, but the fact of the matter is that one Atom bomb from germany would have not won them the war, the reason I say this is because first off they would have still had to deal with russia who had more then enough power to beat them, of course if they didn't have a supply of Atom bombs. That and i'm not entirely sure that the Us would have completley surrendered from one blast, we are a big nation after all and we would of known the outcome of the decision of surrendering, I know i'm making a big history lesson over this, but all i'm trying to say is the idea is good the execution of that idea not so, much. I know at this time in the game it was showing that the germans had quite the amount of special weapons, but there talking about one factor in the story that made the US lose the war. So anyways, their is a resistance, that is trying to stop Germany but they are being crippled by them, and it's up to the nazi killer William Blaskowics, to try and end this problem.

Presentation: This game definitely looks great the definition of the graphics just look impeccable, this game is quite a sight to see, the soundtracks nothing very memorable in fact most of the songs in game are bland, boring and forgettable. so hows the characters in the game? well a lot of them are forgettable, their really isn't a whole lot of them that you will remember, William is also kind of bland, he can be kind of cool during the game but then their our segments where he is talking to himself and I don't know I feel like they tried to hard to make him have some sort of back story, and I just felt like it was forced and stupid at times. One thing I will say about the presentation however is the great amount of variety you see in this game, every single stage is completely new and different and was probably one of the best things I like about the game,(too bad they screwed it up in the end) The presentation is alright nothing special.

Gameplay:Oh boy! here we go, there is just so much wrong when it comes to gameplay, let me explain, First off lets get to the biggest problem in this game the completely contradictory way of how the game is played. So first off in most areas you can rely on stealth, the stealth mechanics are superb and probably the only great thing about the gameplay, but their our going to be certain moments where you get caught by someone, or they already know you are their so you are going to go after them the old fashioned way in a fire fight. This is where the game gets bad especially in the end. So in most shooters when you get shot you can stay down in cover and slowly recover your wounds this is stupid sure but lets be honest one shot from a bullet would kill you right away so it try's to make the game fair, so in Wolfenstein it doesn't work like that you have to find health packs to keep yourself healed up, I feel like this is a completely dated mechanic, but I get that this is mostly for the difficulty of the gameplay, first off lets get to the first flaw when you die guess what? they don't feel the need to replenish your health, at least until you die three times or more on the same checkpoint I can't believe how idiotic this is and not only that but if you start off with full health during this time and you die you will restart that checkpoint with the lowest health. this is not fair difficulty, how can you let the player who earned that health at that checkpoint lose it all just because they made a mistake after it, if that isn't cheap difficulty I don't know what is! but not only that but their is no type of cover mechanic, well I mean technically their is but the enemies in the game just come straight after you, their is no time to stop and think of a strategy to kill all these enemies and this is where the gameplay completely contradicts itself. So in a good shooter you are able to find cover when you are low on health think of your strategy and try to execute that strategy, if you die most of the time it's your fault because you didn't think of it well enough, but in this game it's nearly impossible, first off if you are low on health your screwed because as I mentioned when you are near cover the enemies will come after you right to your location, the huge problem to this is the health mechanic if you are at 20 health you might as well count yourself off as dead because when you try to shoot one guy the others will take you down in mere seconds and this is what i am talking about when I say its coming off as contradictory, you can't have enemies surrounding you when you have non recovery health and my reasoning towards that is because it is literally impossible to stop them if you aim your sights at one the others come after you and trys to kill you, and so what are you supposed to do? wait to get more health sorry you can't recover you have to find more so where do you find more? where all the F#$king enemies are! yeah that's! real fair, how can you stand a fair chance against these guys? Well I found an even better strategy don't like dying over and over again just to replenish your health a little bit each time, then just run past the enemy screw them why even care, I'm not joking you can literally bypass most of the enemies in this game, in fact their was one point where i ran near two enemies that should have killed me in two seconds but instead i pulled a lever that opened one of those automatic doors and ran thru, sure I got shot a couple of times but I pretty much got thru a section of enemies that would have took like fifteen minutes to get thru and did it in seconds and i barley got hurt from it, that's great game design huh? and believe me that wasn't just one time I did that a lot of other times also, what happened? did they even test these fire fights? and I wasn't on easy I was on medium(I know its technically not medium but it was like the third hardest difficulty level so technically medium) so how does that happen? During the beginning of the game you don't really have much of this problem because most of the game is played in stealth and to be honest it's a lot better designed you don't notice most of the problems the game has so you can enjoy the game while you play it. When I started playing this game to be honest I was really impressed I really liked the game, it had amazing levels, fair difficulty, a great story, what happened to that in the end? The gameplay is garbage, it needs a lot of work.

(Spoiler Alert)So the final boss is Deathshed you shoot two blimps down pursue him for a second battle and it's just awful you just shoot him down with your weapons but their is literally no place to hide and make any sort of strategy so you are going to have to just get lucky and kill him, after you beat him you get to stab him but he has a grenade and blows himself up and nearly kills Blascowics the ending scene is the resistance asking blasko if its ok to deploy the A bomb to destroy the Nazi's and return the world back to normal, blascos last speech is the US's statue of liberty writing that welcomes all people to the US this is fitting but this is the end of the story, sure their letting you make the ending in your head, but I wish they would have given somewhat of a conclusion to the story, this just comes off as lazy to me, the story isn't terrible but it's nothing special.

Overall Wolfenstein got close to being a decent game, but instead their were just stupid mistakes especially when it comes to combat I don't know how they made the AI smart enough to pursue you but not smart enough for them to chase after you when you are getting away, if you like the series I don't know if you even want to play this one.
