Wolfenstien 3D Review

User Rating: 4.4 | Wolfenstein 3D GBA
This is the classic Wolfenstein 3D that all of us played back in the day. All the movements were ported over correctly & work really well. There is even a selection in the options menu to change how quickly you spin around. The graphics work really well for this game. Getting a little close, does pixelate a little. Overall, it still looks the same. The game comes with the same weapons & health packs. It has all the same enemies, doors, & secret switches. I did find a lot of them in the same place as well. The down side that I found was that there was no in game save option. All you old schoolers will remember beating a whole crowd of Nazi's & save your position there in case there was another room filled with them. The sound is very minimal. You cannot hear Nazi's yelling Halt, shooting at you, or even walking up on you. And there is no music like the old version. In this version, when you die, you die. At the end of each level is a save option. It took me several times to get passed level 1 floor 3 because the nazi's are always changing around. The Ai in this version is great for this. Overall, it was fun. It does come with 66 levels, but I will be trading this game back in for another FPS like Doom.
