Wii getting 13 from Data Design

Value publisher Data Design Interactive jumps on Wii bandwagon with more than a dozen titles planned for release this year in Europe.

The success of the Wii has many publishers scrambling to release games for the platform. The latest to pledge allegiance to Nintendo's new console is Data Design Interactive, a UK-based publisher of value-priced games.

DDI isn't taking the job lightly either. The company has announced that it is planning to release 13 games for the console this year, with a half-dozen expected in the second quarter of 2007 alone. The games may not be recognizable to many because they are ports of PC titles released in Europe.

The company has not yet announced whether these titles will be available in North America or how much they will retail for.

The following games are scheduled for release in Q2 2007:

Billy The Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing
Monster Trux Extreme: Offroad Edition
Myth Makers Super Kart GP
Anubis II
Ninjabread Man
Elviz: Rock N Roll Adventures

The following games are scheduled for release later in the year:

Hamster Heroes
Trixie in Toyland
Action Girlz Racing
Mini Desktop Racing
Myth Makers - Orbs Of Doom
London Taxi Rush Hour
Earache Extreme Metal Racing

DDI just recycle stuff from their other games I mean Anubis II is just Ninjabread Man with a different theme and more levels. Believe it not, those idiots are making a sequel to Ninjabread Man. Obviously they don't bother to take a look at the bad reviews their games are getting. Death to Data Design!

After seeing the reception their games have received so far, I feel Data Design Interactive should be banned from the Wii.
Heck, they should go out of business all together!

Interesting that they would choose to go with the Wii for downloaded games rather than the XBOX 360 or the PlayStation 3. I thought the Virtual Console was mostly good for emulating older consoles.

I was excited when I saw the image of Ninjabread Man. . .Then I read the article. . .

As much I as enjoy my Wii, I agree with the rest: I want more "real games."
