Overall, Wii Play Motion is an okay game for the Wii, but it's not that great for several reasons. However, Wii Play Motion has greater variety in the games, modes, and multiplayer than the original Wii Play. In some games, you can have up to four players. Also, you can unlock different modes for certain games. For example, there's a remake of the shooting range game, and you can choose the themes for certain levels. Like there's one level where you can shoot UFOs, and there's another stage where you can shoot reptiles like dinosaurs. In contrast to the original Wii Play, this version only has about 12 games. This game has a Cone Zone, Veggie Guardin', Skip Skimmer, Pose Mii Plus, Trigger Twist, Jump Park, Teeter Targets (rotating flippers and trying to hit the ball), Spooky Search (capturing ghosts), Wind Runner (using an umbrella to catch gems while the wind is blowing), Treasure Twirl (collect treasure in the sea), Flutter Fly (control balloons with a leaf and avoiding obstacles), and Star Shuttle (landing on a spaceship).

In Cone Zone, you use your Mii to balance out the scoops of ice cream. As the machine adds more scoops of ice cream on your cone, your objective to to balance it out as much as you can without letting them drop. The controls are precise on this game, and it does take a little while to get used to balancing out all of those scoops of ice cream.

In, Veggie Guardin', you use a hammer to whack the moles to earn points. If you accidentally hit a mii instead, you lose some of your points. The controls are passable, but they get unresponsive sometimes like when the hammer gets stuck in a position for a split second. Also, sometimes if you use the controls too fast, then you can really lose your points.

In, Skip Skimmer, you can choose from a variety of stones to skip on water. Sometimes if you select the special stones (thunder rock), then you can skip it on water for a longer period of time. The controls are fine as well, but the game play just feels too paltry.

Pose Mii Plus is just a remake of Pose Mii. The controls are fine, but it takes a while to get used to turning the Wii remote quickly. Trigger Twist is a remake of a shooting game where you can shoot UFO's and dinosaurs etc. The controls are good, but when you begin to change direction, the controls begin to slow down on you. In Jump Park, you jump around like a child to try to collect gems. Sometimes the controls are finicky when it comes to changing the position of your character.

The good - has greater variety in games, game modes, and up to four players

The bad - some mini-games have control issues, no online play, most mini-games are way too short, could of had more mini-games like Wii Party

Presentation - 5 Like the original Wii Play, you use your miis to play mini-games. There are extra game modes and several more games in this version.

Graphics - 6 They are polished, but still very basic.

Sound - 2 There really isn't much music and sounds in this game.

Gameplay - 6 Some mini-games have control issues, but the others work well.

Lasting Approval - 4 Without online play, and a variety of games (only 12), this game still doesn't have much to offer. At least there's a four player mode this time.
