Monitor your weight and train your balance.

Wii Fit demonstrates what the Wii Balance Board can do and at the same offers a fun way to monitor your weight and balance. It doesn't make you a fitness model, but it will encourage you to do regular exercise.

PLAY FOR A LONG TIME

Wii Fit is meant to be played every day in a long period of time. This means that you should take at least 15 to 20 minutes of your time every morning for example. Exercises are class-based into Yoga, Muscle Exercises, Aerobic Exercises and Balance Games. It's best to play them all, or actually Balance Games represent the actual "game" aspect of Wii Fit and at times they feel more like a tech demo than an actual game.

Program tells your BMI, or body mass index, and keeps a graphical chart about how your weight is changing as time passes on. BMI is fine, but it doesn't take into account different bodytypes. This means that the results should only be taken as a reference and not something of a God's Word or something.

DON'T CHEAT

It's very easy to cheat while playing, but just like any other exercise you only cheat yourself and don't gain anything for doing so. Weird thing is that you need to unlock different exercises by playing something else first. It's very much like a game in this way, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense in a fitness game.

Be prepared to make a lot of space around you while doing your daily exercises, because Wii Fit requires room around it. In some moves it's very hard to look at the screen while playing, but after a few tries you can do just fine by only listening. For some reason you can't choose different exercises and just play them straight in a row like you would do in a real exercise program. Instead you use most of your time just navigating through the menus.

BLAND GRAPHICS

Grphics are horrible in Wii Fit. Wii can do MUCH better than this. Colors are few far between, there's no detail what so ever and only the absolute necessity is implemented. Sound doesn't do much better either. It would have been nice to watch documentaries about sports or something like that while doing long and boring exercises (like jogging) but for some reason there's absolutely nothing.

WII FIT CAN MAKE YOU GOING

As I said earlier Wii Fit demonstrates what the Wii Balance Board can do and at the same offers a fun way to monitor your weight and balance. It doesn't make you a fitness model, but it will encourage you to do regular exercise.
