User Rating: 5.1 | Wheel of Fortune: Deluxe Edition SNES
Bringing a game show into a computer game is never an easy task. Wheel of Fortune Deluxe succds in some areas, but fails in others. The gameplay is self explanitory. There are not extra features in the game that one would not find in the actual show. There is a fairly large database of words and phrases so that a player would not likely start to overlap phrases, unless he or she played a lot of times. But one is not likely to do so, mostly because the game is really not that interesting. The computer AI is horrible. There is always one other player that seems to be smart and gets most of his/her guesses correct. And there is another opponent who is really really dumb. The graphics aren't very good either. The game is more pixelated than most games of the same time period. What is redeeming, though, about this game is that the sound effects are almost identical to the actual game show, which is an excellent thing to have. Overall this game is average. Only serious WoF fans will enjoy it.
