*rolls you over with a katamari*

When I first met the King and Prince of All Cosmos in the first Katamari Damacy, I fell in love instantly. I was thrilled when I learned that a sequel was in the works. I squeezed my Prince plushie in delight, this was the most anticipated game of the year for me.

When it finally came out, I was not dissapointed. And lucky for me, I was sick, so that was an entire day off of school to play it. The music, graphics and gameplay are unchanged, with just minor tweeking to the original formula. And that's a good thing, because that formula roxxorz all kinds of soxxorz.

The story is as hilarious as the original. Apparently, everybody on Earth loves Katamari, and want the King to do them favors. Whether it's going to school to entertain children, or rolling up fireflies to make a light for a kid to study with, or even rolling up valuable stuff to make money to save the red pandas (the King even acknoledges that they are from the intro). As usual, the King is full of his hilarious dialouge, and this time we get to learn of his mysterious past and the Grandfather of all Cosmos.

Rolling around uses the same controls as last time. There are many more enviroments to roll in and new items to roll up. There is a fun co-op (that usually leads to shouting at your partner, but it's fun when you look back), and a clever vs. mode.

All in all, this is one of the best games ever. I have it over Halo 2 and Half-Life 2. I just can't get enough. I have it on pause now, you're keeping me from my baby!
