We Cheer actually gives a realistic taste to Motion control dance games for wii.

User Rating: 8.5 | We Cheer WII
We Cheer is a very underrated game. It is probably the best motion controled rythme game for Wii in my opinion better than just dance simply for the controls.

GAMEPLAY:
In basic rythme games you press a button to the beat or press it when it hits the beat mark on the screen. Ever since just dance came out this has been changed to doing a limited variety of motions when the signal comes at the bottom of the screen. As for We Cheer, you use one or two wiimotes as pom-poms and arrows appear on the screen showing you where to swing your Wiimote and a star in the line of the arrow shows you when to start and when to finish. This actually makes you immitate the moves the chearleaders are making. People say this is unresponsive but let me assure you that this is not true. The best way to play Wii Cheer is to GET UP and actually try to DANCE to the song the same way the girls are, I promise you this will get you the best results, and it's great fun. Now with that said this game is very unforgiving. There is no Perfect, great, good or lame result. it's WIN or LOSE. while you are playing ther is a megaphone at the bottom right of the screen which represents the crowds cheers and excitement. You need to fill this up in order to pass the stage. If not you lose.....PERIOD. The judging of your moves could be better (which was improved in Wii Cheer 2) If you are just a split second off you will miss the move and mess up your combo which means you don't make as many points. At random times durring songs you will see rainbow sun lines, This signals a bonus chance. If you get all these moves right you get to freely move the wiimote to pump up the crowd and earn points. The problem is that at times this can either make or break your final score. There is a workout mode where you help a fat athlete lose weight, it's nuthin' special since there are only really two stages but with mainly the same moves.

GRAPHICS:
The Graphics are cute. The girls look almost like Chibi(small) Anime characters. The movement of the character models is flawless. The arena's are great as well.

SOUND:
This is very important for a rythme game. The game has a great soundtrack. It's not overblasted with mainstream songs. It has a good mix of Rock, Pop, Dance, Classic Cheer songs and a little hip hop. The playlist consists of songs from Simple Plan, Hilary Duff, Aly&AJ, Boys like Girls, Paramore and some people I have never heard of such as Natasja or The Go! Team. In all the song list is great.

Presentation:
The menus are colorful and pretty. That's all I can think to say.

EXTRA's:
There is a customization mode where you can change the cheerleader outfits and haricolor and change members. It's cool.
