Warioware twisted is a game unlike any other

User Rating: 8.6 | WarioWare: Twisted! GBA
Warioware twisted has got to be one of the oddest game's I've played so far for the Game boy advance. All you do for the entire game is turn your Game boy left or right, you don't press any buttons or anything. That's right, you just turn it left and/or right. It might sound really basic, but it's actually quite revolutionary.

Warioware twisted does have a wacky story to it. Basically, Wario gets mad with his Game boy because he lost and got mad so he threw it on the ground. After that, he had to take it to a Scientist and Wario accidently reinvents a new way to play. You just tilt your Game boy in a certain direction. The story is extremely wacky, but at the same time it's also very fun to follow, mainly because you play as so many different people.

Warioware twisted is made up of tons and tons of mini games. This is basically how it works. You go through about 20 or so different minigames and you have 4 lives. Every time you mess up you restart that mini game. If you lose all 4 lives you restart the entire level. It's simple enough but also tons of fun to do the levels, especially since the minigames are mixed up, so every time you do them, they will be in a different order.

Graphically, the game looks really basic. It's a very simple looking game and somewhat colorful. It could have used a couple more layers of paint though, still, it looks pretty great. The game looks a lot like a simple cartoon, but this isn't the reason your going to play this game.

Warioware twisted has quite a few different people you play as. Some of them are pretty cool, such as this kid who only likes old school Nintendo games, so every game you play is goint to be off of the NES system and will be games such as tilting the Game boy left or right for Mario to avoid falling enemies and such. Other characters, such as the disco guy, have nothing but dancing minigames. It's really cool to see all of these minigames come to life and all of the characters have their own little mini story despite Warioware twisted being centered on Wario.

The sound of the game is very basic. Little music plays and there is no voice acting, all of it is just reading text bubbles. Don't expect anything revolutionary in the sound department.

Warioware twisted is still one of the most innovative and revolutionary games your likely to play for your Game boy and if you love different games that try something new such as tilting your Game boy then definitely give this game a try.
