Fun, but irritating at times. Wario World is a decent game with alot of funny moments to keep you satisfied!
PROS: Funny, addicting combat. Really sharp controls. Many levels to explore. Good amount of items to collect (If you like 100% gaming). Catchy soundtrack.
CONS: A bit short. Most of the bosses are too easy...and disturbing. It will get repetitive after a while.
Yeah, not many people like this game. But i don't know, i enjoyed it. Sure, it has some annoyances. But the game does the one big thing, its fun.
The story is overly stupid, but hillarious at the same time. Basically, Wario's rich. Then a jewel comes out of a chest, and messes everything up. Its your job to play as Wario, and to beat the crap out of the jewel. And get your stuff back.
Now the gameplay is your basic beat-em-up, with some puzzles thrown in. Everytime you beat a puzzle, you get a crystal. If you get a good amount, you can defeat the levels boss. Which brings to a negative, the boss fights. Almost all of them are easy. There maybe 1 or 2 that put up a good fight, but overall, most of them are easy. And they also look...disturbing. Heres some examples, a Baby Doll that is 10 times your size, with a creepy smile, and it wants to kill you. Or how about a killer-clown? Or some weird gambling guy with a top-hat. They don't sound disturbing, but they LOOK disturbing.
The controls are excellent, there sharp, smooth, and responsive. Which is a really good thing for this game, if you're 100% games. Theres a bunch of stuff to collect, and many levels to find, and explore. The music is catchy and fun to listen to. It will stay in your mind, and you'll humming it.
Even if you want to collect all the stuff, it still will end up a short experience, if your a casual gamer, it will probably take 7-9 hours. If your hardcore, maybe 6 hours. And the game itself is rather repetitive, rather quickly. You'll be doing the formula, COUNTLESS times. Making the game rather irritating to go thru sometimes. But if you can deal with its drawback, your in for funny experience. Wario World is a decent game with alot of moments to keep you satisfied! If your a Wario, or a beat-em up fan. You'll enjoy it.
