Wario World is a really nice game for the gamecube, and starring the best and fattest rival, Wario.

The good parts of this game is the gameplay, you have this platforming gameplay where of course, you run around, jump, kill a lot of enemies, collect many things and so on and so forth and just like the super mario bros games, this gameplay works out really well in this game. The story has some humor into it, in this game, wario is a rich, but out of nowhere, someone steals every possesion he owned and of course all of his money, so wario as not a very happy camper, he sets out on an adventure to see who took everything. You can do some really neat moves in this game, you can just grab enemies and throw them, you can just punch them, or to really give it that WWF or WCW feeling, you grab your enemy, go up in the air spin and smack him into the ground, killing them. This game does have some humor into it, for wario power-ups, he gets garlic, usually these kind of games would be mushrooms, but in this one, nintendo changed their mind for wario and they made him eat garlic. The graphics on this game is really nice, the scenery looks really nice, the visual effects are pretty nice, and most things are really detailed very well and colorful. The levels are pretty lengthy, for the beginner player, it may take you up to 15 minutes to complete a single level, but, for expert players, it may only take you 5 minutes to complete the level. There are many extra things to unlock like the treasures hidden in levels, and the gems, searching for those can really take awhile to 100% complete. There are times in a level where you might find a little mini-game type of thing, these are really fun, mainly its pulling switches and jumping on blocks, but some are really confusing and take awhile to figure out on how to solve them. The bad parts of this game is the length, even though I said that the levels are lengthy, the problem is, there isn't really a lot of levels, excluding boss fights, there are only 8 main levels in the game, which isn't a lot. This whole game can take you no time to beat, for your first time, it may take you 6 to 10 hours to at least beat, but for experienced players, it may only take 5 hours at least. There isn't really a lot of variety of enemies, it feels like in every level, you at least see 1 kind of the same enemy you may have encountered in the first level. Overall, a pretty nice gamecube game, but you may want to rent this first [if you havent played this before] before you think about buying this.
