This multi-player exclusive PlayStation 3 title has it's ups and downs...

User Rating: 7 | Warhawk (w/Headset) PS3
I am not a person who particularly enjoys multi-player games. This game, "Warhawk" could perhaps be described as a successor to the original PlayStation classic. Unfortunately, this game is a multi-player exclusive, which means whoever buys this game, must know that an internet connection is required via the PlayStation 3 in order to play this game (the only thing that is playable with a single player is the tutorial on how to play the game). This game has a lot of pros and cons, which both will be a factor on enjoying this game.

Story: 0 (This game literally has no story, the only thing required is to battle the other players who are against you, according to the modes one player is playing)
Graphics: 7 (The models are not bad, they just do not seem real or natural, but the backgrounds and fights in the sky are well done)
Music: 7 (Nothing we haven't heard before)
Controls: 7.5 (They seem confusing at first, but with both practice and constant reading of the instruction manual, one will get the "hang" of it)
Sound: 7 (Nothing bad, some sounds are terrific while others are not well polished)

When I first played the game, I was confused, which required me to look upon the instruction manual (something that most players take for granted), and then eventually trying the tutorial. When online, I was somewhat enjoying my experience (minus rude and inappropriate players somewhat ruining the game's experience, with unfortunately no way to turn off other player's audio).

The rest of the game-play not bad, the ground battles can be fun at moments, like example driving a tank at certain moments (before someone takes it), on foot can be fun, but at times kind of boring, and very unrealistic. The air battles is where this game starts to shine. The customization of a character is fine, but th customization of an aircraft is better, especially going against another player in fights above cities and military bases (including download-able content and trophies, which can further enhance a player's experience).

Overall, people will find something they like and dislike, for me I found more cons than pros, but that's my opinion, just follow yours and give it a try by renting or simply borrowing from a friend.
