Campaign is easy while multiplayer takes time to learn the ropes. Awesome gameplay in both modes.
In WC3 each race has a part to play in the Campaign each will a good story and strong voice acting for the main characters as well as fun gameplay. The four races are Human, Undead, Orc, Night Elves. Each side has unique traits to them such as spellcasters, healing and base building. Each side has strengths and weaknesses that can be used and exploited. Even each unit has their strengths and weaknesses. Lastly each race is well balanced and can beat one another.
There are many ways for you fight your enemy, human or AI. You can be defensive fortifying your base then making towers next to you enemie's base, you can harass the enemy to stall them long enough to build up your perfect army, you can even try to build an army as fast as you can to finish the fight early if you want to. Mixing units and always making sure you have a steady supply of resources that get well spent are often the keys to victory. Although the games Heroes can be powerful they almost always need the help of normal units to defeat destroy the enemies base especially if they are up against enemy units and their towers. As heroes kill enemy units and neutral AI units he/she/it will gain experience and level up. Heroes can carry items that increase their stats / abilities as well as health / mana restoring potions and scrolls.
Death for your heroe('s) is not a big deal since you can resurrect them at your base for a price. You can also hire mercenaries and mercenary heroes that will fight for any of the races. To say that this game is deep is an understatement. TFT is a must buy because it adds a lot of new units items and counters for popular strategies. The main story also continues to unfold in it. I could ramble on and on about how good this game is and all the little details but i believe I have said enough already. WC3 and TFT are tons of fun both Online and Offline. Buy this game you are sure to enjoy it if you like strategy games.
