Its a good start

Ok let me start off by indicating the specs of the rig I ran this game on. Intel i7 920 chip overclocked to 4ghz, 6gbs of ddr3 ram @ 1683mhz, Evga 285 vid card overclocked to SSC version specs, Asus P6T6 WS Revolution Motherboard, Creative Titanium X-Fi sound card w/ 5.1 speakers, Dell 24inch WS monitor. Thats basically all u need to know. Now I played this game with both a Xbox 360 controller, and KB & M. Used retail DVD version of game at 1920 x 1200 res. There is no other graphics / video option besides resolution and aspect ratio to choose from.

First off game ran smooth on my rig. It better had or I would of tossed this game out the window. Avg about 100fps. I think I broke 160fps at one point. Good start right? No hiccups. Game isnt the most eye pleasing I have seen but its not the ugliest.

Gameplay is decent. Curving bullets is probably the best feature in the game especially if u hit a fatal shot and the camera pans to follow the path of the bullet. Very nice. Game doesnt really do anything diff from other 3rd person shooters except that. U have the game's version of bullet time and has its melee which are cool but again not revolutionary. Although I will say the cover system is a ramped up version of the Gears cover system. Game moves fast and hopping to cover to cover is a breeze although u have to be facing watever u wanna duck / move to cover in order to execute this option which sometimes can be annoying but not a reason to dog the cover system too much. Game does not allow u to free duck, or sprint which again can be a lil annoying but again not a deal breaker given the fact there is always cover. They could have given the character a lil bit more fluidity as sometimes it feels stiff. There are some parts (i.e. gun turret levels) where u have not clue one how to avoid being hit. There is a way and honestly I would have never figured it out if I didnt see a review of this game on IGN) That kinda made me go...ummm...huh?

Ok this game is short. IGN's reviewer said he finished the game in 4hrs. I finished the game in 5hrs and yea there is little to no replay value in this game. ANY EXPERIENCED 3rd PERSON SHOOTER / FPS PLAYER CAN FINISH THIS GAME IN UNDER 7 HOURS. The unlocked skins, do not motivate me to replay the entire game although some levels u might wanna revisit a few times but u arent gonna be missing them after a few re-tries.

In closing the game is cool but expected more. For the cost of the game with no multi player u kinda expected more play time and thats playing on the Assassins's difficulty. I'd definately recommend renting this game, not buying it.
