One of the few titles that give you as much fun as the movie did or even more! This game is great.

Well, I was looking for a good and cheap game to play and found Wallace and Gromit for as little as 6$ on ebay

Before I bought it I had to check the opinions and stumbled upon the gamespot.com review. I had my doubts but the screens looked absolutely fantastic. So I tried it and it turns out the game is absolutely fantastic!

In the game we can play with either Wallace or Gromit, also there is an option to play both (second player can join after the tutorial). There is plenty of cooperative activities, I liked when one character blowed the boilers (or something) and the other had to suck the rabbits (which flew into the air). With a second player many challenges become very easy and most require both players. Although there still are single player task when the other player is present.

Many times we will be chasing rabbits around the town. The weapons for catching bunnies can also shoot any rabbit-sized object. This makes the city a great place for wondering around and shooting everything (my favorite is vegetable cart). One of the game objectives is to find cards and sometimes it can take a while. The game provides some replay value. The music gets repetetive, but it is berable.

There is a couple of weapons unlocked every now and then (mostly when you get enough cards) which provide a reason to go back and reach previously unavailable areas. New areas look great - there's a port, a forest, industrial area. Another forest is available at the end of the game but it is pretty dull. The thing I now notice is lack of bosses. Sure you have to chase a big rabbit through the city but you just smash him and he goes away. No special mechanics for bosses. The game makes upo for that with hidding some funny unlisted task. For example you can fire up the furnace by sticking your gun into a stack of coal. There is plenty of minigames but main challenges are arenas instead of bosses. In the arena you catch rabbits and other animals during the day and destroy were-devices in the night. It is a little varied and a new enviroment often requires using a new device.

Difficulty level may be suitable for kids 3+ but not complete the whole game. Actually it is pretty bizzare how one task is doable for a 3-year old and another is so insanely hard that a grown-up can't complete it. I actually didn't complete all of the challenges.

Enviroment is simply amazing. The city lives - everyone walks and talk, sometimes providing hints for the player. And for one time the developers made the game feel as colorful as the movie. They've also added some more humor, perhaps aided by Aardman studio. Anyway the effect is outstanding

To sum up Wallace and Gromit is an outstanding game regardless of age of the player(s) and unlike some multiplayer games it can entertain even a single player. By now it must be very cheap so I recommend cheching it out, especially if you liked the movie.
