I can't believe people really liked this game...It feels very ARCADE! I love tennis and this game really doesn't.
I played every single tennis game out there.So I will try to tell you my opinion and be realistic.
Virtua Tennis 2009.
I was waiting for this game to come because virtua tennis 3 was a let down for me.It was very arcade.I bought Virtua Tennis 2009 the day of release!
The first thing you will notice is the graphics!
Yes,I must say the graphics are fantastic!But...
The players look real but not 'feel' real.
The overall presentesion of the game is very nice.
As for the Career mode?
You can create your player.But!
The customization of your player is very limited!And you will eventually create a player looking very badly!VERY LIMITED EDITING...A let down for me...
The good thing is that you can choose any nationality.When I say any I mean any!All countries are aveliable.
The map is fantastic.You can put your base(home) anywhere you want on the worlds map!
As for the gameplay?
If you played smash court tennis 3 and top spin 3 you will won't like this one at all...
The gameplay doesn't feel real!
It feels fake-arcade!All your shoots are in the court, you never make a mistake!You can't make a cross-court hit like smash court tennis 3 or top spin 3.The ball ends up in the middle of the court!!You will win each tournament with ease.
It will feel boring after some tournaments because you will beat all your opponents in max 2 minutes!!!!!
This game really is dissampointing...
The only good thing are the graphics and nothing else...
If you are a tennis fan and you played all these tennis games you will understand what I mean.
