I play tennis, so obviously when I bought this game I knew I would love it...and I did....kinda. Good, but not great.
Good
The graphics are the best I have ever seen for a tennis game. The features on real players like Rodick, Federer and Nadal look amaaing and almost exactly like them. The strokes and how the real life players hit the balls are identical. Federer with the smooth 1 handed backhand, Nadal with the brutal over-the-top forehand, everything.
Gameplay is smooth. There are so sound glitches or mid game glitches. You can easily enjoy going through the whole game without a single disturbance.
Many different things you can do are career mode, exhibition, tournament, mini-games and more keep the game alive. Plus, I never get tired of it.
Bad
There is still no online play. This is a huge downside. It would really be great to play with other people from around the world.
Players dive for balls too much. This can get really annoying when you are playing a tense match.
Lack of variety of different players you can play with. For example, there are only 14 male players, and you keep playing them over and over. They could make the game a lot better by making up other players too. This is where Top Spin 1, 2 and 3 have an edge.
Creating your player is boring with the lack of stuff you can choose from, Top Spin also has an edge here.
