Medium difficulty? I think a certain reviewer either didn't play much of the game or is simply full of it. This game is fun though. The graphics are gorgeous and the controls tight and very responsive. It has an old school/arcade feel to it that'll bring a smile to your face (if you're a gamer of the older variety). However, the game is hard and meant to be re-played over and over- much like the recently release F-Zero or Ikaruga. So, if you're the type to just want to play through a game to say that you finished it, you may consider renting first, because you'll be getting very frustrated.
