Great game. Tumultuous firefights.

It deals with the TET offensive in the Vietnam war. The player can join the fighting into two campaigns, one dealing with the U.S. response to that offensive and the other with the VC's point of view (a shorter one). As the gameplay unfolds, the player can notice it's pretty hard and a single shot can put you down for good. Luckily it's a sort of squad-based game and you take control over three teammates: a doctor, a gunner and an engineer. The doctor will treat you when you're wounded and the engineer will feed you ammo. The enemies are pretty tricky and can flank you, can attack you from the back and they can even use some grenades to put you out of business. In this game you really have yo be a greater shooter, otherwise the missions won't be accomplished. You can quick save your game in a limited fashion (9 saves per mission). i played it on normal, but I can tell you it's pretty hard. The guns sound well, but sometimes the AI of the enemies seemed bogged. They just don't move and they are easy shot for you, but this is rare enough to be a difficult game to beat. The player must not be too disappointed when starting the game from the beginning because he could easily die during the fist mission many times because what's next could be considered rewarding enough to beat it. My complaint is that the VC campaign was so short, not even an hour's play, I think. Overall, if you like live firefights, then this is a game to play.
