Shaun McInnis and Martin Gaston are my favourites. I just wanted to make that known.

This is the first time I have heard of this.  Weird, I browse through lots of GS almost every day, maybe I forgot about it.

Dead Island Epidemic is a big Zombie Moba slap to Dead Island Riptide, the sequel was so Dead Island that I never thought of watching the trailer!

Hooray for good news.

Didn't know anything about this game beyond the title (probably _because_ of the title). I'm glad it's not shit :D

Btw that video title confused me. I though it was some kinect title (Zumba fitness, anyone?).

I just can't stop looking at the word "Hase" meaning rabbit, on the back wall. Do they serve rabbit at the restaurant? So many questions.

Dead Island needs to be just that...Dead. First one was only good one.

I've played a bit of Dota but that is my problem. To really get decent at it rather than just breaking your hero against the oncoming enemies like I have so far you have to really study it. You have to know your hero inside out. Need to basically plan ahead exactly how to level your hero and know exactly what items are best for you and when to buy them. I really cannot be bothered with it.

Why would I want to go to that much effort just to play a game? Hell if most people put that much effort and enthusiasm into their life Facebook wouldn't be full of people moaning about going to work every day.

I mean imagine you make it. You play DOTA into the semi-casual history books. When you log onto a server people either rejoice at you being on their team or log out because you are on the opposite team. Then you go and get a job and tell you interviewer that in fact I've spent the last two or more years of my life intimately studying a video game and am near the top of the leaderboards, I bet they ask what DOTA is.

I am hardly sold upon watching this video but I'll keep an eye out at least.

@Dannystaples14 What are you going on about? I have been playing League of Legends for 3 years now. Believe me when I say this, no matter how good you get 99% of the player base is not going to recognize you. And studying a game doesn't mean you are trying to make it your life... even though I have spent an enormous amount of hours playing LoL, I was never doing it to get better or be the best... I was doing it to have fun.... duh!

@Dannystaples14 In a game top left corner there is a picture of open book. click it and it opens  a sidebar. click the arrow and you have access to guides made by people who know better.

This helps a lot if you're a new player.

@Poodger I wasn't being totally serious, I was trying to distinguish between a professional who is great because they are a professional and someone who is just awesome at the game but isn't part of a team or anything but still pours tonnes of time into it.

You were studying a game just to have fun with it? That is what I mean, if I studied quantum mechanics for fun people would think I'm a weirdo. Yet studying a game so I can kill little figurines is perfectly fine?

Which is exactly my point why would I WANT to waste time studying a game just to be able to play it and have fun when there are tonnes of other games that are super fun and don't require you to squat up on game technique and spend months breaking your beginner skills just to reach average?
