We Played Red Dead Redemption 2 On PC

One year after its initial release, Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC, with improved visuals and several new features. We played two hours of it, and have some things to tell all of you cowpokes out there. Yeehaw!

Red Dead Redemption 2 released in October of last year, and on Nov. 5, we're finally getting the highly anticipated PC version.

In addition to improved visuals, lighting, textures, and more, Rockstar's PC release also features a full fledged photo mode, which the original lacked (unless you count Arthur Morgan's in-game camera). With filter options that can enhance the Wild West-ishness of your pictures, and a bevy of editing options, the PC release has several ways to frame the improved world of this 2018 release.

Red Dead 2 on PC also features new horse breeds, new weapons, additional bounties, gang hideouts, and an extra "stranger" character. For more info on the minimum and recommended PC specs, you can visit GameSpot's news articles over the last few weeks.

Lastly, the continually updated Red Dead Online will be available for PC players immediately at launch. For more news, features, and impressions, check back on GameSpot.com throughout the coming months.
