I really dont know about this games. The combat system seems outdated - although i love the idea of medieval customization options and the sound of a horse charge .. Also the period in and of itself is so enticing that i can hardly help but buy it - i just hope it wont regret it.

here we go again you have to start out with a board and a tree bark for a shield, all you so called inventers do the same thing with every game you invent,i have been playing these type of game for like 20 years, give me a break and be inovated same ol same ol you will end up ftp
looks like a more polished mount and blade, especially the combat with force meters and incoming block indicators. Im also loving the crossbow reloading too. This is a lot of what i've been looking for in a video game, i just hope there are siege maps to go with it.
Darn, I wanted to see the militia fighter stab some guys with his nifty pitchfork. That would be true bravery from the local farmer. True ENTERTAINMENT.
I'd rather have a super-inaccurate system that gives me the benefit of the doubt than one that allows me to shoot between someone's arms.
The combat is Mount and Blade. While M&B is ugly, it's looks like the better game. I'd like to think Taleworlds would get out of their 17th century gunpowder romp and get back to what makes their games best.
@pyzen1941 +1 Vorpal Board of Doom
@OdinssonThor its made by the guys who make M&B...
@Scarab83 So wrong... "The focus of the core gameplay is on the Multiplayer experience, but we will have an engaging and immersive story driven single player campaign designed to prepare and train players for the multiplayer experience. The single player campaign will give the players direct rewards to use in the multiplayer battles." - Official FAQ
@MultiJhonny M&B was made by Taleworlds.. This is from Fatshark AB.. How is it made by the same guys??
@Arpogest Eh, guess I should have looked a little harder.
@sodiumpentathol It's done in association with paradox which ... wait for it.... helped with Mount and blade. Research at least lowers the chance of being made a fool.
