@RHCPlusXbox Sure, whatever you say. It doesn't matter that there isn't even a release date for the console yet and LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted are already going to be in the launch line-up. To be honest, I'm looking forward to Mario Bros 3D and Snake Eater 3D, but the currently available games for the 3DS are crap.
i also think that ngp will deliver in every aspect: technically, featureset and launch-lineup.. in my opinion the 3DS still has to deliver... especially in the software department... right now i think the 3d effekt is one big gimmick, because it doesnt really influence gameplay that much
i dont think its below the pricepoint of 3DS, sony has to watch the value-price relation... if its cheaper than the 3DS people might think its also worth less, so i guess they will price it slightly hihger: my guess: 299 with a game or DL goodie like PSN downloads
Looks so good, I just hope the touching isn't the only way to control and it's just away to show of what the system can do.
I got burned by the PSP Go so much, I want to love the NGP, but I'm worried about Sony's support of the system.
Do you have to use the touch screenand panel, or can you just use the joy pad? Not keen on putting my fingers all over the screen, and not being able to see what I am doing.
@ gobbo00 Good question.... But i think it would be the scaled back version because these dev's would have known that the spec would be scaled back before the media knew.
It looks good. Also looks like it has allot of lag around the 50 sec mark and again around 1:28. I still cannot get excited about massaging the back of the system but we will see. The touch screen wall climbing mechanic also seems silly.
I hope u can play this game without having to use the touch screen. I would prefer to play uncharted the original way, with the buttons.
@SANDMAN201Exactly. Looks preeeeety gimmicky--Especially the back-side touch screen. I mean what the heck is that all about?
I'm seriously hoping to get a portable ps3 when the NGP comes out. and as for this Uncharted game, as long as Naughty dog are watching over its development I have high hopes for it
Seeing as that it'll probably most likely be one of the few first games to come out within a few month of the launch of the NGP I'm expecting a lot of the first batch of games to just be more or less a showcase of what the NGP can do rather than delivering a basic game with little touch or motion involved. I'm hoping a lot of the touch & motion is optional & not manditory.
looks cool but a lot of the touchscreen and motion controls seem unnecessary and added in just to "show off" the ngp's technology
The only Touch Screen gaming that is fun is for games like Fragger and other ipod games. NGP seems like a waste to me. Sony should learn the gimmicks like this just arent appealing or just abandon portables altogether and use their resources to make more games for the PS3.
@pedram007 I'm inclined to agree. Everything developers do with touch screens and motion control just screams "gimmick," and it's almost ironic, considering the real shock factor of touch and motion control died a long time ago.
