Top 5 Skyrim Mods of the Week - Samurai Hot Tub Party
Adventuring around Skyrim is hard work. Fortunately The Akaviri Samurai Estate comes complete with a hot tub. Where better for Kevin VanNord to kick back after a hard day of Skyrim modding?
what enb are you using exactly?
I have tried all of them I think, and the only one that looks decent and works "ok" is RealVision ENB, but even that hurts the performance pretty badly.
Using Depth of Field in any mod kills frame rates...
I have a fairly high-end pc, supported by i5 3570k oc'd to 4.4 and Nvidia 670 GTX... but those ENB modes are dropping the frames to the 50's, 40's and worse sometimes.. plus some of them look too bright and white at days, and too dark at nights..
lol u guys should check out the macho man randy savage mod. changes all dragons in the game to macho man, complete with his voice, catch phrases, and everything. especially funny if you play the intro with it on. check it out maybe for next weeks show!
What mod are they using inside Breezehome? It looks so great graphics and I can see the sky through the small holes in the ceiling.
In ten years, I hope that there will be another single-player Skyrim. The MMO will probably last for at least 5 years and hopefully will not sap all Bethesda resources as they try to keep it alive.
I've never seen Kevin VanNord and Kevin VanOrd in the same place before. I think they're the same person...
Do any of you know what happened to that old mod project that attempted to make Skyrim an online playable experience? I remember seeing a short video on it a long while back, and it could only work viewing the other player/s NAKED.
You should feature SHARPE Craftsmanship (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14474//?) Its great for people who are to lazy to actually forge items themselves!
I've watched all of these Skyrim mod shows since they started way back when, but have yet to play any Skyrim at all. Happily I just got it in the steam sale, but seeing as I can't remember all of the great mods that have appeared over the past 2 years, I will have to watch them all again. Looking forward to it.
All these mods practically make this a different game. Once I get around to building that PC I've been telling myself I'd build for the past year or so, I'll have to revisit some bizarre, surrealist version of this game.
Youse guys should definitely fly Kevin over for the Christmas special, or better yet go to san fran yourselves. You could called it a "professional improvement experience"
Looking at the Terminator bots set (possibly) for next week makes me drool slightly at the thought of the inevitable Fallout 4 on the Creation Engine.
@GunEye Try Stakado's Cinematic ENB
@amdreallyfast Actually Bethesda isn't involved in the MMO in any shape or form (apart for some of the writers). It's a completely different studio called Zenimax Online.
Speaking of Skyrim, here it is for 8 bucks..
@SipahSalar I don't think you could do it .I searched on the internet and i could not find if you could fast travel from any in-doors area
@SipahSalar Nor do I. I remember having to leave various buildings multiple times in Oblivion. The Dark Brotherhood sanctuaries come to mind. But I think it is far more noticeable in Skyrim since you have the radiant quests (which bring you back to certain places frequently) and because of indoor design space which has become much larger (if memory serves).
@NickyWithATicky I hope your computer has a lot of video memory for all those hi-res textures
@RussianMeatClob Who is Woodhouse?
@adrianjarca I'd like to see that. What kind of legal things might be involved in that though? Yes, Cam and Seb have US visas because they have been to E3 before, but I don't know if Kevin has been to the UK before, and if he doesn't have a visa for it, it may be no simple matter to fly him over.
@adrianjarca right, and do a 3 player GTA diaries with Danny while they're at it :D
@ViDiS The Mod is just the gun. The Terminators (both NPC and playable race) are a seperate mod by the same dude.
@King_Wii It's still a nice thought though :)
@King_Wii I can only picture Steam boxes allowing users to do that. It would take a real shift in business mentality for the big console producers to allow user created mods (albeit some minor user created content exists) and dlc to coexist, as it may detract customers from purchasing dlc and microtransaction content.
Possibly another hurdle is copyright, as a few mods recreate other IP not owned by that game's publisher. I imagine console makers would be unwilling to invite the potential liability.
