Top 5 Skyrim Mods of the Week - Lightning and Chocobos bring Final Fantasy to Skyrim
Cam and Seb introduce Kevin VanNord to another sword-wielding badass in the form of Final Fantasy's Lightning. Will they clash in combat, or bond over the severed heads of their enemies?

This is the sweet spot. Remotely locate, start, charge your car. And I wrote this song ,it's called Driving a Padiddle with a Burnout Fuse. But I think most people think I'm saying potato. What do you mean driving a potato with a burnt out fuse? This is what they call the practical executive coup.
also i have a mod suggestion, i haven't gotten very far into it, but it was great form what i saw and its Wyrmstooth by Jonx0r
hey i have a question, do you guys have any mods you keep on at all times? performance upgrades and such?
Hey guys! I always look forward to watching your show each week!
I was wondering, would you be willing to look into and maybe give a shout-out to Skywind? It's a huge modding project with hundreds of members, devoted to recreating and enhancing TES III: Morrowind with the Skyrim engine. It's still far from completion, but they've made amazing progress; here's their latest development video:
It really is an amazing effort, and probably the most ambitious out there, but it could use as much support as it can get. I know it would mean a lot to the development team if you could just mention it on your show, to help get more people involved. Thanks!
At ~10:08, did anyone else catch what appeared to be lightning firing a projectile that wasn't a fireball? If I'm not mistaken, that could have been the modder's attempt to put the gun functionality into the blazefire saber. Cool.
I just wanted to say that Final Fantasy's Lighting is not a badass in any sense of the word.
I don't hate her, but she isn't. Let's reserve that for Cloud or Squall, before they were plastered everywhere for a cheap buck.
It seems the whole community has taken to a form of Seb advocacy. I would suggest you don't slip up again Cam, or someone may make a new mod around burning you in effigy.
Darth Aniaml should have been named on the Dragonflame's Lightining mod because he modified the original mod to make it more exclusive with its own texture and mesh files structure as also with better abilities like keep wielding the sword and use the spells with one hand. This is on Skyrim Nexus in which Dragonflame and Darth Animal posted the modifications. So, on Dragonflame's Lightining Follower mod, Darth Animal should be named.
Great show as always. What is the mod you use to chop off your opponents' heads? I don't remember seeing that on a show.
I miss Feedbackula but this show may finally get me to play my Skyrim game more than just for the opening 15 minutes of the game.
Seb and Cam you guys are the best.i watch your show every week. i was wondering if i could get a shout out because you guys made it easier for me after i tore my ACL. i Had the surgery recently and had to sit home for two months, so i began watching your adventures with Kevin VanNord. It was a lot easier to sit all day laughing at you guys. Thanks a lot guys, your the best. As well the chickens.
SEB: There's also a skimpy version of the armour, but we don't need that...
CAM: Eh, I'll make it anyway
Probably my favourite episode so far! Cracked up at the beginning.
More final fantasy mods please! Maybe even a ff mod special?
oh wow that ENB and Lightning looked pretty damn cool :o
I have recently tried Skylight ENB, pretty cool too :] Thought I can't remember what was the mod that fixed the depth of field? kind of made it softer.
And thanks for featuring my little comic :3
@henchman28 That would be a cool mod to showcase!
@henchman28 I totally agree!! These guys are doing an amazing job from what I've seen and should get all the support they need to realize this ambitious project!
@balrogbane Don't feel left out! You're just ahead of the curve :)
@waelse1 Not a mod, you can chop off heads in vanilla Skyrim as long as you get the perk to do that. But there is a mod called Dance of Death that lets you choose how big chance you have to get the decapitation killmove.
I would caution that not all of those "everyone" whom you are referring to are against "sexy women" because of the same reasons and opinions. ;)
With that said, some fictitious characters have been designed without nothing more than cosmetic appeal in mind - to people who have seen so many of such characters, they are boring perpetuations of clichéd tropes.
Also if you guys are in the mood to keep up with the slight Final Fantasy theme of late I recommend checking out the 'Powers of the Dragoon' mod which adds 3 pretty cool lesser powers I really like it anyway...bit over powered but pretty awesome
Btw I rather see the mod that made that char look so damn good then the freckles..... just saying....
@edgardpoe Skyrim is made by Bethesda and the mods are made by players, both having nothing to do with BioWare, so unless I missed something, this comment confuses me...
I think that a lot of people actually do have something against "sexy women". Sort of.
They seem to be under the impression that it's offensive or something. But the truth is that in a medium as visual as this, characters have to look appealing.
After all, most of the male characters in Final Fantasy look very handsome. Why hold back on the women? That honestly wouldn't help anyone.
@Oloryn @edgardpoe back in 2012, there was a mod where you can encounter an ogre from Dragon Age, but after a week, it was taken down cuz BioWare don't like when you take their stuff and put them on other, better stuff. So thats why am MAD with them, cuz it seems no one else cares if their characters are modded on Skyrim...
