Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction - They Never Learn Gameplay Movie
A player lures a room full of bad guys to their deaths.
The player took a messy route. If the player took the door on the left (the one near the weapon stash), he would come to an empty room. And then he can jump through the window and go to the next room. Pull out one of the enemies which will make all the others curious. Target all of them and take them out. I loved doing that. Or if I want to make it even fun, I will wait till one of the enemies walk away down the corridor before doing the pull and execution. Then when that enemy comes back, I will shoot out the lights one by one and spook the guy. Then silently assassinate him. Get my execution ability back with that trick.
I totally think this is one of the most underrated games ever ! The AI may be not the smartest on "rookie" but if you want more, just play it on "Realistic" and you'll see the difference. At first, when I read the gamespot review, I was like " Oh my God, this game is such a piece of crap !" but after I bought it and played it, I realized how cool this was ! I'm an action fan, and I think this is even better than the previous Splinter Cell games. So, I think this is a really good shooter, with god music and story, good voice acting and wonderful graphics, nut most important, VERY GOOD gameplay. So, anyone that says this game is crap, surely never played the game, and doesn't know what he's talking about.
The player must be the most impossible-awesome-oh_my_god-makes_fatal1ty_look_like_a_baby-etc video game player of all time to pull something like that off... Well, that or the AI is about as advanced as "I can't directly see him, so he couldn't possible be here, right?". No... Couldn't be..... Not in 2010... No..... NO...... NOOOO!!!!!
This game really is too easy. If it wasn't for the brilliantly contrived character driven plot and the slick gameplay, I wouldn't buy it.
does it bother anyone else how easy this game is? I'd take something like Death To Spies over this in a second--sure, it doesn't have nearly as much polish, but it actually takes some thought to beat
So they now define stealth action as hiding and waiting till the npc's walk up next to you then turn to face the other way. /facepalm.
I assume this is on realistic difficulty? IGN seemed to simply note "The AI is excellent if you play on Realistic difficulty" although seems that they are promoting and not reviewing. I'm dissapointed and devastated, but not surprised considering last console -> PC games. But I waited and excpected so much of this game I will probably buy this anyway and see for myself. PC gamers get screwed over and over again but I keep my support and develop my own games in the meantime.
