for example FPS are best played on PC, that's the way it's always been. but I don't like PC gaming, and I don't care so much for FPS, so i'm missing out on that.

I'm missing out on a couple of exclusives for other consoles that I would like to play KOTOR for example, Gears of war looks like it could be cool.

but the trade off is that i get the best exclusives on the planet. I know i'm missing out on some experiences and things, but i'm winning more than im losing.

There are all kinds of reasons why you would only want one or two platforms (money for instance), but to then go ahead and claim you're not missing anything sounds a bit like you're just trying to convince yourself because you know that you are.

@exiled_paladin @Zevvion @Jdzspace It was just an example. But yeah, if you're into turn based strategy games then you really should consider playing it. It is at the top of the bunch (or at least somewhere around there). It's really good.

@Jdzspace @exiled_paladin Both of you are being extreme. There is nothing to call PC gaming inferior for and there is no reason to say someone who prefers to play on a console is 'wrong' about preferring that.

There are great games on all systems. Whether exclusive or not. I've never understood fanboyism for one very simple reason: you are probably a dedicated gamer because you want to play great games. Are you a casual gamer? Then alright. But you're not are you guys? Then there is no praise for either of you if you refuse to play on multiple systems. You will simply be missing out on some of the best games of our time.

I own all systems and lately I've been playing my 3DS more than anything else for instance. If you're into turn based strategy games and haven't played Fire Emblem, you are seriously missing out.

Missing out is one thing, but claiming you're not is just ignorant.

Yep. Pretty sure once you pull up those gunsights, all the recoil just magically disapperas like in CoD.

@tinyname the online bots will be the only ones who can stay in the game

@Zevvion The loadouts, unlocks and hit indicator to me are pretty standard nowadays, or at least very common. The game speed and complete lack of recoil, though....yeah, that's the stuff that really makes it like COD. That and the teleporting-melee-instakills.

Apparently the boys at Respawn know what they like in an FPS, and they'll be damned before they try something new. Too risky. This game is a guaranteed blockbuster, unfortunately :(

For me it's the gameplay. I can't stand Call of Duty gameplay and this game is Call of Duty.

Stop, aimdownthesights, automatically heal in a safe location.

If you love COD, this game will be for you but personally, I hate COD so I really can't see me liking this
