I bet in the future the online player count will be an 'amazing' 10 vs 10 instead of a lame 6 vs 6, but EA will charge you for that DLC, maybe $15?
I'm not a huge multiplayer fan, but some can be fun; that being said, I played this games beta, and aside from some moments of weirdness due to the connection, it was really good, and perhaps the most immersive multiplayer experience I've had. I didn't get it in one of the stages I played, the stage that they had initially showed for the first E3 demo, but the more recent one that they had showed off at a press event that I played on, which was less open, showed off the pods being dropped off, and I loved that when soldiers are dropped off, you can hear them having a small conversation as if it were in a campaign. I also like that music plays during your play. Otherwise, it's just a fun game for a little while (still not huge on multiplayer). I'm interested in the campaign multiplayer they're talking about more now though.
Looks great, i have beta codes for PC and XB1 but for some reason the XB1 codes dont work.
its it only for people in USA or something?
Well the BETA is fun. I wonder how much more will be in the full game. Haven't actually played their "variety pack" yet.
Didn't care for it. I was really bummed about that. If I wanted to play spawn-die spawn die on small maps, I'd play COD ghosts. I was skeptical because EA doesn't do shooters very well. I can see this losing people's interest quickly.
I really wanted to like this game, but its not for me. The game felt too spray and pray, I prefer some tactics in my shooters and this felt very much whoever shoots first wins, I never felt like we were having gun duels. So for me this game is a no buy. I feel the game mechanics could be fun in single player scenario but not for multiplayer.
And truth be told the game looks a little too cartoony.
There is no way to play Titanfall with gamepad and stay competitive. This game is so fast paced action that mouse and keyboard is essential.
I found my brief time with the game thus far very enjoyable and look forward to playing it alot more when I get home from work today. The game does bring new dynamics to FPS and it really does create a sense of urgency during a battle as enemies can be anywhere at anytime. At first I didn't care much for the MK5 as it seemed a little cheap and it still kinda does, However its a blast when you encounter 3 people hiding somewhere and manage to run up on them,The MK5 is not good at all for a shootout where there are objects between you and the enemy and the enemy is strafing side to side as it wont get a bead on them and it will miss its mark.
The game really does make you utilise each of your loadouts depending on the situation and you gotta think fast or else your eating the pavement. The environments play a heavy role in the gameplay and you will be using them more often than in other games where you would simply hide or run and gun all Rambo Style, The gameplay is just far more deep and yet its intuitive at the same time. The environments feel less static because your not limited to simply running through or around buildings, I didnt find myself feeling like I was going through the paces to put it bluntly.
I had my skeptisisms about the running along walls and how the Titan combat would play into the scheme of things but not anymore, I found myself excited and am eager to get back into the beta.
Coming from someone whom used to hate FPS games with a passion, than got reeled in by games like Counter Strike and Halo only to grow tired and even a little Hateful toward FPS games again with the last few iterations of COD and Battlefield. This game does make things feel fresh again. Is it going to change how we play FPS forever..I dont think so, I hope it doesnt because I dont want everything to become clones of this,
I just goy my Beta key :), but I haven't had xbox gold for 2 weeks because it expired so I have to wait 3 days for one to be shipped to me :(
I'll play it for sure! Before all is just an opinion, valid for everyone, and prats93, I sometimes know I'm talking about, not always, I've being around video games for the last 25 years. I'm just saying this it could be one of those big ass game and I can't wait to play the beta. You can't deny this can be a breeding ground for the same CoD effect....
sent me a xbox code and 2 pc codes.
I only need one pc code. so here is the xbox code
And why don't you just cool down a bit? I'm not comparing it to any game on gameplay or anything, I'm glad it has a great gameplay, at the end of the day thats what really matters, full on graphs and stuff don't make any difference. And I kind of know what I'm talking about, like you maybe I've being around with video games for te last 25 years....
For a next-gen game is very dissapointing how limited it feels, small maps, no destructible environment and a weird deja-vu of CoD.... don't get me wrong, looks fun to play, but i can see all the 12 year old kids moving in from CoD and start T-bagging and being total morons...
This game have or had an amazing potential to be a mind blowing experience, and from what I have seeing so far, and no I haven't played yet, it looks and feels like a polished version of a FPS with big ass guns.
After experiencing it, just another FPS with robots and kicking opponents. My friend bought Xbox just for this, now he is trading it for PS4.
made it past the training missions before they servers went kaput but i was digging it so far love the mobily of it all especially since BF and COD are so slow by comparison these days.
Im so getting the PC version.
its sad that the company would have sold a hell lot more if it was also on the PS4
@GH05T-666 Probably because you don't need codes for it anymore? Everyone can play it now.
@joshua6775 my thoughts exactly. at first great but i got bored quicker than i thought i would of... unless your kinda simple and simple things excite you than this game will be right up your ally. Evolve looks more promising
@igorcule not gamepad against mouse and keyboard ofc. but there's no shooter in the world that you could do that with? on console it's the same for everyone so then it's competetive.
@Blazen702 it does look like quite a lot of fun. but no, I'd never squeal for you. never.
@danielcliment You will have a bunch of prebubescent idiots trying to sound cool and calling eachother names and throwing around the N word, I encountered it relentlessly last night while the game assembled groups. Just turn them all off, report them or do whatever to ignore them.
@samus_my_life do u want an xbox one code?
@danielcliment Have to agree you need to play it before passing judgment.
So after playing the beta myself as opposed to just watching videos like you, I can comfortably say that Titanfall surpasses both COD and BF in terms of gameplay, balance and just general fun. Dont comment on shit you know nothing about.
@WolfgarTheQuiet I'm glad I didn't have to spend $400-500 just to play it, since my PC runs it very smoothly :)
@Gen007 Liked for Trigun. That riff is my ringtone, waiting for someone to hear and recognise it and realise how cool I am. I played the beta until 2 in the morning, it is sweet my friend. Very, very sweet
@Gen007 Pretty much right after mine downloaded the servers were down :(
@JoGargos So your gonna hate the game because you cant find a key??
Thats without mentioning the 2 weapons of mass destruction (Ion cannon for the GDIs and Nuclear Bomb for the NODs) that you have to spend 1000creds for the beacon, then make it through the enemy base, plant it and defend it until the bomb lands or the satelites shoots its laser to instantly destroy one of the enemy buildings while their engineers and hotwires/technicians try to disarm it. But yeah,I bet thats too much gameplay for the sheeps looking for another bland 6v6 run n gun exp grind that gets old in less than a week.
Thats without mentioning the 2 weapons of massive destruction ( Ion Cannon for the GDIs and Nuclear bomb for the NODs) that you have to spend 1000 creds for the beacon then make it inside the enemies base, plant it next to one of theit buildings and defend it until the bomb lands or the satellites shoots its laser to instantly destroy one of their building while holding the enemy team from disarming it.
But thats probably too much for all the sheeps looking for another bland 6v6 run n gun experience wiith exp grinding and absolutely 0 depth in gameplay.
ehh...it depends. We don't know how much money Microsoft is paying them to keep it an exclusive. Respawn knows how much potential it has, so they must have believed they were getting a good deal from them. But I don't know, most people with PS4s are saying that the game sucks...unless they're just jealous than maybe it would have sold well on PS4 too.
@tzolynski Pretty much the same thing as me my friend. Its like walking down the street and you see a piece of paper on the ground and you think its money but as soon as you pick it up its just garbage :( I must stop picking shit up from the ground.
@gamer112696 they're jealous. or just stupid. both PS4 and Xbox One will have some great exclusives, this is the first big one for Xbox.
So while the PS4 runs BF and COD better, it doens't run Titanfall at all. I'm on PS4 btw and yeah, too bad we don't get Titanfall - it looks like a lot of plain FUN.
@JoGargos Hahahaha i got ya mine is downloading right now and im a little nervous.... I never placed a ton of hype in this game but im a little scared of being let down.
