So far, this feels like the best DLC out of all the campaigns. Enemies are tough but don't need too many shots, and you can simply walk from place to place rather then walk 500 miles when you vehicle has exploded, plus there's some very funny commentary!
"ITS A GUN THAT FIRES SWORDS AND THAT THEN EXPLODES TO FIRE MORE SWORDS!"
I think this DLC blows............I'm pretty die hard Gearbox too but this thing is just silly and pointless I thought the core game was better as a whole
@Diamondsoulz So you're "die hard" Gearbox, a company that primarily focuses silly/pointless/fun fps games amidst a sea of gritty washed out 'realistic' shooters, yet you dislike Assault on Dragon Keep for being silly, pointless, and fun? Nah man. Makes perfect sense. Really.
@Diamondsoulz I got the impression this whole DLC was made as a funny joke and I appreciate it like that. really looking forward to playing it these days!
The Borderlands 2 season pass was probably the best value gaming purchase I've made in the last few years. This last DLC is excellent... hell, they all were.
@Emerald_Scott Go ahead and wait 3 months cheapskate. The rest of us will enjoy it now. So go ahead hipster tell us all how this is a waste of our money.
@R-tofen @Emerald_Scott The only person here saying that is you. If I'd wanted to say that, I would've said that already. Nice try, but go bother someone else.
Oh and I prefer the term "smart, informed consumer" than "cheapskate." It's like you waiting for a price drop on something makes you a cheapskate, but hey, maybe you buy everything brand new.
its easy to be patience of this kind of thing... just play some backlog and eventually goty will come and surface. I still have a massive backlog to catch to this day so its kinda of easy challenge at least for me.
@YoungCardinal @Emerald_Scott @R-tofen Point well made. I wrote my comment based on how long it took the first Borderlands to receive a GotY edition -- exactly one year. Anyway, you do have a good point. GotY editions go down in price eventually, it's just a matter of how long you're willing to wait.
I bought Fallout: New Vegas GotY edition for $20 last month, but I really had to be patient. I guess you could say my patience paid off.
I've played Borderlands. I wasn't fond of it, but I'm certain it must be better play with friends you know.
@Emerald_Scott @R-tofen Look at Skyrim...The Legendary edition of that just came out recently at full $60 retail, and how long ago did it release?
You can get the base Borderlands 2 right now for $30 plus the season pass still for $30 effectively getting the GOTY Edition for the same price as it would be when its officially released.
The only reason to wait for the GOTY would be to wait for the discounted 4-pack combo that comes with it, and that will likely be a long wait.
Borderlands 2 is a great game, but probably best enjoyed with full 4-player co-op with your friends. I don't trust random online games cause everyone wants to hog all the good loot :)
